energy saving tip...

   • Set up a Maintenance Plan with CMi on your HVAC Equipment to keep your equipment running to full efficiency.
   • Clean or replace your air conditioner's filter the first of every month to trim your cooling costs and help your unit run more efficiently.
   • Turn off your ceiling fan when you leave the room.
   • Cool your home at 78 degrees or warmer with the thermostat fan switch on "auto." For additional savings, raise your thermostat to 82 degrees or warmer when you're away from home.
   • Have CMi Install a programmable thermostat to adjust the temperature automatically and maximize your energy savings.
   • Limit the time you run your pool pump.
   • Keep the interior door and vents open to help your A/C circulate air more efficiently and maintain proper airflow through your system.
   • If you have a lot of windows, you'll save on air conditioning if you keep the drapes or blinds closed when you're not home.
   • If you have central air, check all the ducts and seals. If they leak, you're wasting money.
   • How old is your air conditioner? The older it is, the less efficient it is. And if it's 10 years old or more, it has to work much harder to cool the same area compared to a new unit. Consider buying a new A/C system.
